Event Description The Philosophy Program is excited to announce its fourth annual Philosophy Week, taking place April 28 and May 4-5, 2016. We'll have talks by: Mathias Frisch (Universities of Maryland and Hanover) on climate change and public policy; Adam Knowles (Drexel University) on "Heidegger's Black Notebooks"; Quayshawn Spencer (Penn) on the concept of race; and Melissa Yates (Rutgers-Camden) on democratic deliberation. The Philosophy Club will also host a mock trial exploring the ethical and social challenges of artificial intelligence. All events are free and open to the public.
