Event Description
The CAREER Proposal Workshop will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am at MacAlister 6th floor in the Sky View room. From 9:00 am - 10:00 am there will be an informational session followed by the 10:00 am - 11:30 am workshop (please bring a brief description of your proposed educational/outreach plan). You may attend either or both sessions.
The goal of this workshop is to provide faculty preparing CAREER proposals (and other proposals with significant educational and outreach components) with an overview of Drexel's Office of University and Community Partnerships and to provide examples of how current CAREER awardees have collaborated with the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships and the Lindy Center for Civic Engagement to enhance the broader impacts of their work. We will describe resources and programs run out of the Office of University and Community Partnerships, including existing partnerships and programs, training workshops, civic engagement opportunities, and faculty support mechanisms. Current CAREER awardees will describe programs they have run in collaboration with the Dornsife and Lindy Centers.
