Event Description The Office of the Comptroller, in collaboration with Human Resources, Budget, HR Information Systems, and Research Accounting Services, is hosting a four-part Finance Employee Engagement Workforce Lifecycle Workshop Series this October. The series is open to faculty and professional staff members, regardless of role or department. Whether you work directly with finance and personnel processes or simply want to better understand how these functions intersect with your work, your perspective is valuable and welcomed.
In this session: Join colleagues from HRIS and Research Accounting Services to discuss labor redistributions, grant labor budgeting, effort reporting, ePAFs, and grant continuation processes. Through open discussion and shared problem-solving, participants will examine common challenges, exchange best practices, and identify opportunities to strengthen coordination between departments.
Key Topics: Labor redistributions (grant and non-grant related), grant labor budgets, effort reporting, ePAFs, grant continuation tool, and committed percent effort impact.
Register in Career Pathway.
About the series: Participation in all four workshops is not required; you may choose the session(s) that best fit your needs. Those who do complete all four workshops will earn a professional development certificate. Learn more on the Office of the Comptroller's website. |
