Event Description

Get out your sketchbooks—it’s a snake! This class provides a rare opportunity to sketch live reptiles as you observe them up close with guidance from Academy staff.

Academy artist Stephenie Koniers, who has a fine arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, will provide tips and assistance with drawing live animals. Enjoy the rare opportunity to draw our live reptiles at leisure while Michael Kaczmarczik, an Academy teacher-naturalist shares the natural history of each animal. No experience is necessary.
