Marisa Span, PhD, associate research scientist at Columbia University
Marisa Spann, PhD, engages in research that focuses on the typical and atypical development of higher-order cognitive ablities, such as attention and associated brain networks during early childhood. She completed her T32 Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in 2013 at the Translational Child Psychiatry at Columbia University. She also worked as a clinical assistant professor and an associate research scientist at Yale University School of Medicine. Her Pediatric Neuropsychology Fellowship was at Yale University and internship at University of Minnesota, which followed her PhD from George Washington University in child-clinical psychology. Marisa Span, PhD, is named in 10 journal articles, the most recent one in Child Neuropsychology, "Childhood abuse and neglect in cognitive flexibility in adolescents," published in 2012.
