Event Description Carly Demopoulos, PhD, post-doctoral fellow at UCSF in the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Carly Demopoulos, PhD, received her master’s degree at Columbia University and doctorate at Illinois Institute of Technology in clinical psychology. Her areas of expertise are in pediatric neuropsychology and neuroimaging research, including magnetoencephalography (MEG) and fMRI. Her program of research focuses on understanding the relationship between abnormal sensory processing and social cognitive deficits in children with developmental social disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her current research at UCSF is focused on examining neural processing of auditory and tactile information using MEG in children with autism, sensory dysfunction, and typically developing children. |
