Are you a first-year student interested in research, scholarship, or creative work? If so, join us for an information session about the STAR Scholars Program!

 

STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) is an opportunity for high-achieving first-year students to conduct mentored research, scholarship, or creative work with a faculty mentor of their choosing during the summer after their freshman year. Our STAR Scholars work full-time for the full ten weeks of Summer Term and are provided with on-campus housing and a stipend in return. All STAR Scholars complete the summer by writing an abstract and presenting a poster of their work at the STAR Scholars Summer Showcase.
