Event Description This interactive training introduces a relational-cultural approach (or mutual empowerment approach) to diversity and inclusion that helps to actualize the University's core values of quality, integrity, diversity and access. Topics include: cross-generational, race and ethnicity, disabilities, gender, gender identity, LGBTQIA, religious practices, veteran status, international, lifestyle choices, and power and privilege. The goal is to enhance critical thinking, address ideological tensions and promote connections across differences.

Location: The James E. Marks Intercultural Center, 3225 Arch Street (lower level of the Paul Peck Problem-Solving & Research Building). The entrance to the center is on Arch between 32nd and 33rd streets. University ID needed to gain access into the building. |
