Event Description
No one should treat online information about the law as legal advice, but many business people make that mistake. This workshop will review the best online resources for law-related information, and help you put these resources to work for you. Bring the URLs of your favorite resources with you to the workshop so we can discuss when and how they provide reliable (or unreliable) information, and how to use them.
The workshop leader is Fred Wilf, a technology and intellectual property lawyer who is the principal of Wilftek LLC (online at wilftek.com). Fred has worked for 16 years in large law firms (Saul Ewing and Morgan Lewis), and another 15 years in small law firms, including his current boutique firm. Among other things, Fred has long experience working with startups and is well-known in Philly's entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, Fred speak, writes and teaches on topics at the intersection of technology and law.
