Event Description
The BEES Graduate Research Seminar is a weekly series of scientific presentations by faculty, graduate students and outside speakers. The seminars are opportunities for learning about and discussing ongoing research in the department and current issues in biodiversity, earth and environmental science.
 
Title: Experimental Induction of Antipredator Behavior in Asian Elephants and its Utility in Mitigating Crop-Raiding

  • Dr. Vivek Thuppil, University of California Davis (former Drexel Environmental Science student)
About the Seminar: The BEES seminar is a course requirement for Ph.D. graduate students. Students are required to attend and give a presentation on their thesis research. Outside speakers are hosted by a department member and typically visit labs and have discussions with the students.
