Event Description The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region III's Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program is hosting a photo exhibit of Famous Women Scientists and Engineers in our Public Information Center to highlight the contributions made by women of all races and ethnicities in the fields of science and engineering throughout history.
Images and artifacts will be displayed from January 2013 - June 2013 then will be used for outreach events and permanent display throughout EPA's Region III Office. Many of the women featured in the exhibit are part of the National Women’s History Project while others were nominated by WISE members based on who in their field inspired them.
