Title:
The Story of Halo Labs

Speaker:
Robert Hart, PhD
CEO
Halo Labs

Abstract:
Halo Labs is a fast-paced startup that develops, manufactures, and sells scientific equipment to pharmaceutical companies. Like many startups, Halo Labs had to perform a pivot. Ours was a big, dramatic pivot that involved abandoning years of effort and turning the company towards a more profitable course.

We launched a whole new technology in May that is aimed towards improving the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products by capturing and counting unwanted particles in drug solutions that are injected into people. These particles plague the industry and pose a health and safety risk to patients. This first year, we have exceeded our sales targets and next year we are expanding!

In this talk, I will describe who we are, what this new technology is that everyone is excited about, and what it was like to pivot from one technology to the next.
