Event Description
Women's Studies and the College of Arts and Sciences present Intimate Partner Violence in the LGBTQ+ Community, a CEO Lead Certified workshop!

 

Intimate Partner Violence in the LGBTQ+ Community will be facilitated by a Women Against Abuse trainer and will cover the following topics:
  • Origins, dynamics and complexity of relationship violence in the LGBTQ+ community
  • Warning signs of an unhealthy relationship
  • Planning for safety in a dangerous relationship
  • Resources for LGBTQ+ victims of domestic violence and their community members
