The Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) Department invites all CBE alumni back to campus for a reunion event.
This is an exciting opportunity for members of all classes to witness the changes that have occurred at Drexel since you were students. Meet the graduating Class of 2015, reconnect with current faculty and former classmates, and recognize the Classes of 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009 (all classes are welcome to attend). The reunion will begin with a cocktail networking event followed by a guided tour given by students from the Class of 2015. The festivities will conclude with a sit-down reception featuring a keynote lecture.
Dr. Cameron F. Abrams will deliver the keynote lecture on “Novel Approaches to Inhibiting HIV Infection.” Dr. Abrams has been conducting research into biomedical and materials applications using molecular simulations for almost 20 years. He received a prestigious Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award in 2003 and a National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2006. In 2008, Dr. Abrams was granted tenure, and in 2011 he was promoted to full professor. Most recently, Dr. Abrams won Drexel's College of Engineering Excellence in Research Award in 2014.
