Due to speaker's professional obligations, event has been postponed.

Dr. Aletha Maybank will discuss the role of government public health and leadership in addressing health equity. She will talk about the interconnectedness between politics and policy, community engagement, and creating a health equity lens to view and address today’s public health issues, specifically the role of health equity in emergency preparedness and the response to the Ebola epidemic.
Speaker: Dr. Aletha Maybank. Dr. Maybank is an Assistant Commissioner at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
