Event Description Santiago de Compostela is a city in northwestern Spain (Galicia). The legend says that Saint Kames the Apostle’s remains are under the cathedral’s altar. For centuries this shrine has welcomed millions of visitors each year. Douglas V. Porpora, PhD will talk about his experience during the challenging pilgrimage that took him five weeks on foot.
