Event Description
The Center for Hospitality and Sport Management will be presenting the Food Science Seminar Series featuring research chefs, product developers and food scientists to discuss important topics and new developments in the industry.
The lectures will be held on Tuesdays at 5pm beginning on September 30 and concluding on November 25 in the Academic Bistro, located on the sixth floor of the Paul Peck Problem Solving and Research Building.
The following individuals will be featured during the seminar series:
September 30 - Warren Katz, research chef at Lactalis American Group
October 14 - Alison Lacombe, PhD, scientist at USDA - ARS
October 28 - Joshua Gurtler, PhD, senior scientist and food safety expert at USDA - ARS
November 4 - Dana Celona, Product Developer at Wawa Corporation
November 11 - Brian Dirks, food chemist at Egglands Best
November 18 - TBD
November 25 - Joel Minkoff, research chef at Chelton House Products
