Check out the newest building at Drexel with the College of Engineering Alumni Association! Tour the 24 story, 600,000 square foot reinforced concrete structure with a glass window wall and precast concrete façade, which will house 1,316 students, along with retail tenant spaces, dining, parking, a fitness area, and an amenity deck.
We'll ride up to the top floor of the structure in the construction hoist to take in the views of Center City and West Philadelphia. Plan to see the structural frame and components of the building and all of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure that is normally not visible in a finished building. And, we'll take a look at a sample of a finished student apartment and the first floor entrance and lobby areas that are under construction so you can see what a Drexel student might live like! Then, afterwards join us for a light reception at Landmark Americana. Please plan to meet at the construction trailer located at 34th and Lancaster Streets promptly at 5:30 p.m. Closed-toe shoes are required. Please bring a hard hat and safety glasses if available. All guests must be at least 16 years of age.
The tour will last approximately 1 hour. Reception will follow at Landmark Americana.
