Event Description Simon Foucart, assistant professor of mathematics, University of Georgia
Abstract: We consider the standard compressive sensing problem when sparsity is supplemented by additional assumptions on the structure of the vectors to be recovered. The first part of the talk will focus on nonnegativity and the algorithmic benefits that are generated. The second part of the talk will focus on disjointedness and the lack of benefit (in terms of number of measurements) brought by the simultaneity of structures. |
