Goldwater Scholarship Information Session

Event Description

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship is a highly competitive award for outstanding students in mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering who are interested in pursuing a career in research.

Sophomores, pre-juniors and juniors who have excellent academic records (a GPA of at least 3.7), strong letters of recommendation and a demonstrated interest in and potential for careers in these fields are invited to apply for institutional nomination. Drexel can nominate up to 4 students each year.

This session will provide an overview of the Goldwater Scholarship program and application process. A recent Drexel Goldwater Scholar will discuss their experience.
