Event Description
Creating a governance framework is one of the most tasks for an entrepreneur. In this session you will learn more about corporate governance - choosing a team of people that will help you grow your idea or take your existing business to the next level. 
 
The session includes an overview of corporate governance, an overview of corporate governance systems and a review of the key players and their legal duties in public and private companies.
 
Speaker - Jeana Mushriqui
Jeana is a Drexel alumnus from the College of Arts & Sciences, International Area Studies, Class of 2001. She has been practicing corporate and contract law since her graduation from Temple Law in 2005. She has practiced at a large firm in Philadelphia, a multinational government contractor and has started a few businesses on her own. As an attorney and owner of three start up businesses herself, Jeana is able to advise entrepreneurs and start up businesses at various stages of growth and development. As Founding Principal of Corporate Law Solutions, she continues to assist small to medium-sized businesses in their legal and business needs.
