Health Professional Careers in the U.S. Navy

Event Description

Interested in learning more about careers in military medicine? The vast health care networks in the United States military include a diverse range of clinical care professions (physician, dentist, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, clinical psychology, podiatry, physician assistant, etc.) as well as health care administration and research science. Representatives from the U.S. Navy will present an overview of career options in Navy Health Care and the range of financial incentive programs for students enrolled in designated health care professions to complete degree/certification requirements and obtain a commission in the Medical Service Corps (MSC). Information will also be available about the Health Professions Scholarship Program for medical and dental school.

Note that this program will be repeated on October 25 at 5:30 pm in the Steinbright Career Development Center, Suite 250.
