Event Description
Explore the world of the dinosaurs and have a blast every Saturday and Sunday in October at the Academy of Natural Sciences! Visit every weekend for a free special activity and a chance to come face-to-face with roaring, moving, life-size animatronic dinosaurs in Dinosaurs Unearthed.
You can get the behind-the-scenes scoop during a tour of Dinosaur Hall, meet live dinosaur cousins at the Reptile Cart, and join fellow Lego-lovers to build dino-inspired creations. It’ll be the most explosive October on (the fossil) record! Tours and activities are free with admission; fee required for Dinosaurs Unearthed. No reservation needed!

Dinosaurs may be the most famous reptiles to ever walk the planet, but we’ve got some pretty cool LIVE snakes, turtles, and lizards right here at the Academy! Use cutting-edge technology to explore their miniature world at this interactive station featuring the Academy’s live animal ambassadors.
