Event Description
On October 16 to 17, Google will be hosting a few events aimed at giving Drexel students some tips on navigating the fall recruiting season *and* how to have some serious fun. Details and registration info for both sessions are below. Hope to see you there!

Google Games: Campus Edition (Monday 10/16, 6 to 8 p.m.)
What: Interested in participating in a fun and friendly puzzle competition? Assemble a team of up to five people to compete against other student teams in puzzles (which involve some coding) and word association games. The top teams will receive some preeeeetty good prizes. Start assembling your 5-person team, pick a team captain, and register by Thursday, October 12th.

Pizza and swag will be there while it lasts!
Registration by each individual team member is required!
Where: Nesbitt 111 (Stein Auditorium)

Resume Workshop + Technical Interview Prep (Tuesday 10/17, 7 to 9 p.m.)
What: What does Google look for in a technical resume? What does a technical interview look like? And how should you prepare for it? Get your questions answered by two Google engineers who are also Drexel alums. Bring questions -- swag will be provided while it lasts!
Where: Nesbitt 125 (Ruth Auditorium)

What to do next? **Register for the events which interest you.** Make sure your resume and LinkedIn profiles are up to date (feel free to link both in the form above) and of course come with lots of good questions! For Google Games, be sure to register by Thursday, October 12th. After that date we will no longer be accepting registrations for Google Games. Google Games

FAQs
Q. Can we have fewer than five members on our team?
A. We strongly recommend having the maximum number of members – any less and you'll lose your competitive edge. Each team member must register individually!

Q. Can we replace a member before the start of the event?
A. Sure. Just let us know via email techstudents@google.com. Be sure to include: the full name and email of the new team member, the full name of who is being replaced, your school name and your team name.

Q. Do I need to bring my own laptop?
A. It will give your team a competitive advantage to have all members work from their own laptop in the challenges. If you don’t have your own, see if you can borrow one from Drexel IRT or a friend. Don’t forget to charge your laptop before the event, because Stein auditorium has limited charging points!

Q. Will food be provided?
A. We’ll have pizza as long as it lasts!

Q. When will our team receive a confirmation about the Games?
A. After the registration deadline, we will reach out to confirm team selection and provide more details 3-4 days before the event.
