Event Description
Google’s coming back to Drexel University's campus; and this time, the Tech Challenge is coming with us! On Wednesday October 16, Google engineers will host the Tech Challenge: where teams of up to five students compete against each other in coding, puzzles and word association games. Put your knowledge and tech expertise against the best your school has to offer!

The top teams will not only get bragging rights but also some preeeeetty cool prizes. This year’s theme is “Arcade”!

Here’s what you’ll need to do to participate:
  • Assemble a team of 4-5 underclassmen from your school (A team of five and students having a CS background is strongly recommended).
  • Pick a team name & team captain - Register HERE **Each team member must register individually**
  • Deadline to register is Monday, October 14. We’ll email out a final confirmation to everyone who’s successfully registered before the event.
  • Check out the details and FAQs below.

FAQ
Q. Can we have fewer than five members on our team?
A. We strongly recommend having the maximum number of members – any less and you'll lose your competitive edge.

Q. Can we replace a member before the start of the event?
A. Sure. Just let us know via email. Be sure to include: the full name and email of the new team member, the full name of who is being replaced, your school name and your team name.

Q. Do I need to bring my own laptop?
A. It will give your team a competitive advantage to have all members work from their own laptop in the challenges. If you don’t have your own, see if you can borrow one from a friend. And don’t forget the charger!

Q. Will food be provided?
A. We’ll have pizza as long as it lasts!

Q. When will our team receive a confirmation about the Tech Challenge?
A. After the registration deadline, we will reach out to confirm team selection and provide more details.
