Responding to the Opioid Overdose Epidemic: Clinicians’ Role in Prevention and Treatment

Srinivas Muvvala, MD, assistant professor of psychiatry, Yale University School of Medicine

Target Audience
Department of Psychiatry staff, clinical staff at Friends Hospital and clinical staff of affiliate programs, e.g., St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Northwestern Human Services and Northeast Community Mental Health Center.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to discuss the major research of importance to practicing mental health professionals and academicians in the fields of psychiatry, neuropsychiatry and the other clinical neurosciences.
