Planning ahead for the 2020 medical and dental school application process

Event Description
For juniors, seniors, and alumni who are considering applying to medical or dental school in the summer of 2019 for admission in 2020.  The workshop will provide guidance to students on “assessing their readiness” to apply to medical or dental school and advice on ways to enhance their credentials in preparation for the 2019 application process. Topics to be covered include academic requirements, the importance of patient engagement and community service experience, and recommendation letters.  This workshop will provide an overview of the timeline of the medical and dental school application process from preparing for the MCAT and DAT to submission of the primary and secondary applications and interview season. This workshop is a repeat of the planning ahead workshop held in August 2018.
