Learning Objectives

  • Describe physiologic pulmonary (and cardiovascular) changes during exercise
  • Outline the methods employed in exercise testing and be able to interpret results of testing
  • Delineate the pulmonary limitations associated with various congenital heart defects and apply this understanding to care of patients

Physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing personnel, fellows, residents, medical students and other health care professionals who take care of children
