Join Drexel University, the American Philosophical Society, and Dr. Nancy Vogeley for The Bookrunner: A History of Inter-American Relations and Commerce in the U.S. and Mexico, 1800-1830

Dr. Nancy Vogeley is professor emerita of modern and classical languages at the University of San Francisco. Her research on the Spanish language books printed in Philadelphia and distributed in Mexico demonstrate key elements in the historical interconnections between print, capitalism and nationalism.

Light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to the public.
