Planning ahead for the 2019 medical and dental school application process

Event Description
Note that this workshop will be repeated on Tuesday October 24 at 5:30 pm in the Steinbright Career Development Center Suite 250.
For juniors, seniors, and alumni who are considering applying to medical or dental school in the summer of 2018 for admission in 2019.  The workshop will provide guidance to students on “assessing their readiness” to apply to medical or dental school and advice on ways to enhance their credentials in preparation for the 2019 application process. Topics to be covered include academic requirements, the importance of patient engagement and community service experience, and recommendation letters.  This workshop will provide an overview of the timeline of the medical and dental school application process from preparing for the MCAT and DAT to submission of the primary and secondary applications and interview season.
