Event Description

The Immigration Law Society is hosting guest speaker Azadeh Shahshahni of Project South and The Flores Exhibit.

Curated by The Flores Exhibit and Lee Evans, testimonial videos about the conditions of detention centers (both before and after the onset of the coronavirus pandemic) will be shown. Azadeh will speak about the conditions in detention centers as well as the recent whistle-blower complaint filed by Project South regarding the inhumane medical mistreatment of detainees in the Irwin County, GA detention center.
