Event Description The UnAmerican Undiet: Live!
Join A Healthier U for a comedic exploration of why Americans tend to be overweight and how individual Americans can take control of their eating habits.
Tuesday October 8, 2013, 7:00pm Behrakis Grand Hall South, Creese Student Center
Comedian and author Pete D'Alessandro will be our special guest. Pete will be presenting a live performance with insights from his book The UnAmerican Undiet.
In 2005, Pete D'Alessandro decided to lose the excess weight that had plagued him most of his life. Since then, despite countless nights of comedy club food and beer, he's managed to keep it off. His notes about this journey served as the foundation for his book, which explores the question: What makes Americans so fat?
This event will be followed by light refreshments. Come have a snack and enjoy Pete's performance!
