Event Description Register now for the Winter Season of the Delaware Valley Farm Share at Drexel. This program offers Drexel students, faculty and professional staff the opportunity to purchase a biweekly bounty of local farm-fresh foods and pick them up right here on Drexel’s campus.
How does the program work? Sign up for a biweekly pickup of your Delaware Valley Grown Share items, delivered to the Drexel Recreation Center. Pick up your items every other Tuesday in the Recreation Center Lobby at 33rd and Market Streets between 1-4pm. Shipments for the winter season run from mid-November through April and are priced at $270 (produce only) or $380 (produce + dairy share, which includes yogurt plus cheese or butter) for the full 10-week run of the program. Register online today at dvfarmshare.org! Register by Nov. 8 in order to begin picking up your share on Nov. 26. Registration includes a free, insulated bag you can use to pick up your produce. Delaware Valley Farm Share sources directly from local family farms that follow Earth-friendly farming methods. You can find more information about the program on the attached flier. This program is sponsored by Drexel Business Services and Drexel Athletics, in partnership with Drexel Green. |
