The Office of International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) is pleased to announce the annual Thanksgiving Host Program for international students and would like to offer you the opportunity to host Drexel international students during your upcoming holiday celebration.
Thanksgiving is traditionally a time for Americans to be with their families, remember their good fortune and be thankful for all they have. Considering that most of our domestic students will be spending the holiday at home with their families and friends, we would like to encourage you to share your holiday with our international students. This can be an incredible experience for international students as well as faculty and professional staff. It provides international students the opportunity to meet an American family and share their culture with them.
This year, Thanksgiving is on Thursday, Nov. 27. You are welcome to invite one or more international students to any of your holiday celebrations, including, but not limited to, a Thanksgiving meal, Black Friday shopping, holiday season decorating and/or other family gatherings on any day from Thursday, Nov. 27 to Sunday, Nov. 30.
