Event Description
Kline School of Law Professor Adam Benforado will discuss his new book, "Unfair: The New Science of Criminal Injustice," published in June by Crown.
The book explores the myriad ways in which unrecognized bias influences victims, suspects, police, witnesses, judges and jurors and undermines the criminal justice system and it suggests a range of reforms, small and large, that would promote greater fairness.
The discussion, sponsored by the Criminal Law Society, the American Constitution Society and the Kline School of Law will be followed by a book signing in the law school's Third Floor Gallery.
The event is free, but registration is required.
