Event Description
Parents and family members of all ages are invited to campus to reconnect with their students. Family Weekend 2015 kicks off with a Dean’s Welcome event on Friday, November 6 and continues into the weekend with exciting opportunities on and off-campus. A few highlights for Saturday, November 7 include the Drexel Family Association Parent’s Panel followed by a Wine and Cheese Reception hosted by the Provost and Senior Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Success, where families can meet and mingle with fellow students, parents, and Provost Brian Blake, PhD, who recently joined the Drexel community. Families can also explore Philadelphia by visiting local attractions such as the Academy of Natural Sciences, Eastern State Penitentiary, and the Philadelphia Zoo – with shuttle services provided by Drexel. As a fun ending to Saturday evening, all are welcome to participate in Casino Night for the chance to win a variety of prizes. These events, along with a number of others, are specially planned for families to continue their involvement with the Drexel community.
