Registration opens at 6:30 a.m.
Survivor photo at 7:15 a.m.
Opening ceremonies at 8 a.m.
Run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m.

Route length: 5k

PurpleStride Philadelphia, a 5K run and family-friendly walk to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research, is the signature local event of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Wilbur Bowne, MD, associate professor of surgery, was selected as an honorary chair for the PurpleStride campaign, and Drexel Cancer Care is a Gold Sponsor for the walk. Pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest rates of survival after five years, and Drexel wants to make a difference in finding a cure.
