Event Description
Please join us for a reception and poetry reading inspired by the exhibitions BADGES: A Memorial Tribute to Asbestos Workers and LIFE'S WORK: A Fifty Year Photographic Chronicle of Working in the U.S.A., exploring the experiences at work, featuring poems from Philip Levine's collection, "What Work Is" and others. Student writings in response to the exhibitions will also be presented.

The reception and poetry reading is being sponsored in collaboration with the English & Philosophy Department, the Dornsife School of Public Health, who funded the exhibitions, and The Drexel Collection.

The event will be located in the Anthony J. Drexel Picture Gallery on the third floor of the Main Building on November 9th from 5-7pm with readings starting at 5:30pm. The event is free and open to the public.
