"AJ's Place on the Planet": A Public Reading
Start Date: 11/13/2018Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Date: 11/13/2018End Time: 9:00 PM

Event Description

When an engineer sets out to cut greenhouse gases at an oil refinery, he finds he can’t care for the environment without caring for the community next door — whether it’s in his job description or not. A play about finding your calling and making a home in a messy, polluted world.

Come on out on Nov 13th, at 7 p.m. for a public reading of "AJ's Place on the Planet," a play by Gwen Ottinger, PhD, and directed by Maura Krause, at the Louis Bluver Theatre at the Drake (341 S Hicks St.) Admission is free!

Gwen Ottinger, PhD, associate professor of politics and of science, technology and society, was awarded a 2018 Faculty Scholarly and Creative Research Award from the Drexel University Office of Faculty Affairs. This award has made this public reading possible. For more information about internal faculty awards, including this one, please visit the Faculty Affairs website.
