End Date: 11/18/2013End Time: 6:30 PM

Event Description
Join the Libraries for a kick-off gathering of members of the greater University community with a shared interest in the history of science, technology and medicine. The event will feature a short introduction to the research fellowship application process using the example of the Philadelphia Area Center for the History of Science [PACHS] process.

Community members will be encouraged to share news and updates on their research and to help to identify ideas for future Drexel community events.

PACHS Executive Director, Babak Ashrafi, and Dean of Libraries, Danuta A. Nitecki, will introduce the event, which will include speakers to advise researchers on appealing to both collections managers and scholars to impress on the impact of proposed research.

Light refreshments and opportunities to mingle and chat will be provided.
