Event Description
Are you a freshman interested in undergraduate research? Come to an information session about the STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) Scholars Program! This program allows high-achieving first-year students from across the University to conduct faculty-mentored research, scholarship, or creative work during the summer after their freshman year. Students must have a 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA (with strong preference given to those students with a 3.6 cumulative GPA) for Fall Term to be eligible to apply.

Office of Undergraduate Research staff will be on hand at the Information Session to present about the program and the application process and to answer any questions you may have about this amazing opportunity.
