Event Description Transgender Remembrance Week is a national celebration held in November that allows individuals and organizations around the country to Join us at the Drexel flagpole to raise the transgender flag in an effort to bring awareness to all those who are needlessly killed by hate crimes against the transgender community and call attention to the violence faced by gender-variant people. The transgender flag will be displayed on the University City, Center City and Queen Lane campuses from Nov 20 to 26raise the visibility of transgender and gender non-conforming people and address the issues these communities face.
