Event Description
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
At Drexel, it is a priority to assist under-served communities and one way is through our longest-standing alumni tradition, the Alumni Turkey Project, #DrexelTP17.
In honor of the 44th year of the project, Drexel hopes to provide 1,440 turkeys and give 1,440 families a reason to celebrate.
