Event Description
The Section on Public Health & Preventive Medicine at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia and APHA Physical Activity Section invite you to attend the History of Public Health Walking Tour during this year's APHA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia!

Tours will be led by historical public health experts:
Dr. Michael Yudell
Professor & Chair, Dornsife School of Public Health, Drexel University
Member, Section of Public Health & Preventative Medicine, The College of Physicians of Philadelphia
Dr. David Barnes
Professor, History and Sociology of Science, University of Pennsylvania

There are three guided tours offered:
  • Sunday, Nov 3, 3:30– 5:30 pm
  • Monday, Nov 4, 3:30 – 5:30 pm
  • Self-guided Tour
