Event Description
All faculty and staff are invited to our Fall term Faculty Forum: Getting to Know Global Drexel, which will introduce new (and returning) faculty and staff to the exciting initiatives of the Office of International Programs, including Study Abroad and Global Health & International Development. Faculty and staff are invited to learn about getting involved in Global Drexel through exciting opportunities such as, but not limited to, developing international research collaborations, leading faculty-led study abroad programs, and teaching global classrooms.
We will cover the following topics:
- Overview of Drexel's global initiatives, including international research, our partnership model, and on-campus programming
- Overview of study abroad opportunities for students, and how faculty can get involved by leading an Intensive Course Abroad
- Overview of Global Health and International Development opportunities for students and faculty
- International Health, Safety, and Security initiatives, including how to properly register all international travel.
