Event Description
Celebrate dinosaurs and their closest living relatives, birds, with a holiday weekend of fun activities. Special auditorum shows will feature birds from our Live Animal Center as well as paleo-illustrator Jason Poole, who will show how an artist makes dinosaurs come to life.

Bringing Dinos to Life Friday and Sunday, 1 p.m. Ever wonder how a dinosaur goes from fossil to ferocious? Join paleo-illustrator Jason Poole as he walks you through how an artist makes dinosaurs come to life.
Science Live Talk turkey with Academy experts and see if you can separate fact from fiction about a very special dinosaur.
North American Hall Touch real fossils and use your dinosaur detective skills to solve prehistoric puzzles.
Dinosaurs Unearthed
Real science comes to life through roaring, thrashing, life-size animatronic dinosaurs and awe-inspiring stories of prehistoric earth. The exhibit also features full-size Jurassic Period dinosaur skeletons, real fossils and fossil casts, hands-on activities, and the latest stories about dinosaur behavior and appearance.
Second Floor Make a dinosaur finger puppet and a turkey holiday craft to take home. |
