Marian Procession

Event Description
Join Drexel Newman Catholic Community in walking with our Mother Mary in a procession carrying a statue of Mary from the Dornsife Center through the Drexel and Penn campuses to Saint Agatha and James Church. The procession is on the vigil of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Thos processing will ask God to answer their special prayer requests through the intercession of the Mother of Jesus.
 
 
Rain or shine, the procession will take place starting at 4 p.m. at the Dornsife Community Center. Slowly and prayerfully, the procession will carry a statue of Mary through the streets of the community (4:30 p.m. through Drexel and 5 p.m. through University of Pennsylvania).

Participants may join the procession at any point along it's route.
 
After the mass, there will be hot soup and bread available at the Newman Center.
