Learning Objectives
- Explore how primary headaches, centrally mediated abdominal pain syndromes, and chronic
musculoskeletal pain are considered to be symptoms of the same underlying pain vulnerability.
- Describe successful interdisciplinary approaches in managing primary pain disorders in children using
a rehabilitative pediatric pain approach.
- Discuss the low importance of pharmacotherapy to effectively treat chronic pain in children.
