Description: The average résumé is reviewed by a hiring manager for only 6 seconds. Due to technology changes and a more competitive labor market, job seekers are using a variety of new techniques to stand out. In this presentation, students will learn how to gain a competitive advantage with cutting edge and creative résumés that are eye-catching and functional. Focusing on student success stories and real-life examples, the presentation will cover: ideas for design techniques; using LinkedIn; tips for personal branding; and information on new alternatives, such as videos, Pinterest, and infographics résumés.
*This Workshop/Webcast is open to all students, but strongly recommended to graduating seniors. The program is presented by the Steinbright Career Development Center and is part of the CEO LEAD Leadership Certificate Program [LCP] and Drexel Senior Experience and is sponsored by the Office of Student Leadership Development & Traditions.
