End Date: 12/5/2019End Time: 7:00 PM

Event Description
Poet, photographer, and urban activist Andrea “Philly” Walls shares her talk, “When Language Isn’t ‘Enuf’: Engaging Visual Culture as a Tool for Transformation.” She finds beauty, complexity, depth and contradiction in every sight and sound, taking solace in the creative process, making art across genres as an act of resistance.

Walls is the first The Study x Writers Room writer-in-residence. The program provides selected writers with a week-long hotel stay to nurture their creativity and advance their work.
